The location of the Port of Frederikshavn makes the port an ideal base for excursions in Vendsyssel – “Land of Light” – a paradise for nature-lovers and outdoor people. With the city of Frederikshavn as a starting point, practically all parts of Vendsyssel can be reached within a 45 minutes’ drive: Skagen with Grenen, the northernmost point of Continental Europe, Vendsyssel’s white sandy beaches, the city of Aalborg for shopping or cultural events, just to mention some of the possibilities.
