Ferryline to Hirsholmene

The small group of islands, “Hirsholmene”, is located approx 7 kilometres northeast of Frederikshavn.

The crossing takes approx. 20 minutes.

The mail boat to Hirsholmene departs from the quay near “Frederikshavn Fiskeriauktion” (the fishery auction of Frederikshavn), quay 5 in the North Harbour.

The number of passengers is limited to 12 persons, so you cannot be sure to get a place. During the tourist season it may be difficult to get a place on the boat.

The leaflet “Hirsholmene – et naturreservat i Kattegat” (Hirsholmene – a nature reserve in the Kattegat) is available on ”Frederikshavn Bibliotek” (the library of Frederikshavn), on the mail boat to Hirsholmene and in the information house on Hirsholmene.
