Cranes
The Port of Frederikshavn offers handling of most types of cargo with a mobile harbour crane, of the make Gottwald HMK 260 E. The crane has a lifting capacity of 80 tonnes within a radius of 16 metres, and 28 tonnes up to 40 metres outreach (see diagram below). The crane is equipped with an automatic container spreader, bucket, and heavy-lift gear. This equipment enables handling of containers, as well as windmill wings, marine engines and many other types of project cargo. The crane is also used when handling the various bulk products, considerable quantities of which are handled in the Port of Frederikshavn.
